CSSR’s Key Objectives


  1. Research: Conducting research to understand existing systems and generate new knowledge, providing new approaches for addressing systemic setbacks and sustainability challenges. This includes contributing to the national and global knowledge base on sustainable development and facilitating practical interventions to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
  2. Knowledge Sharing and Exchange: Creating academic and industry relevant platforms for scientific knowledge sharing and exchange of ideas among researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and civil society organizations. This especially includes organizing national and international conferences, scientific schools, industrial breakfast meetings and academic-industry seminars. 

  3. Advocacy and Policy Influence: Engaging in presentation of policy briefs to national and international agencies, bodies and institutions to shape public policies and regulations. Promoting advocacy efforts through evidence-based research to raise awareness about important but neglected societal and developmental issues.

  4.  Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Promoting institutional, national and international expert collaborations to effectively develop wholistic solutions. Encouraging a broad-spectrum of interrelated academic and industrial engagements including traditional and emerging media outlets to publicize the activities of the center.

  5. Technology Innovation and Education: Facilitating the provision of education technology innovation educators in technical institutes, schools and education centers. Providing the requisite academic route for higher studies in technology innovation by mounting relevant professional and degree programs.
