CRDTI has inaugurated its technological hub with the aim of empowering students and the public by providing skills and access to relevant equipment to transform ideas into reality. The hub currently features state-of-the-art technologies, including 3D printers for training in modeling and rapid prototyping, drones for training drone pilots and providing skills to build, program, and customize drones for localized purposes, and VR headsets to enable users to develop products in the metaverse. These initiatives align with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The 3D printers support SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) by fostering innovation and promoting sustainable industrialization. The drone training programs contribute to SDG 4 (Quality Education) by providing quality, hands-on learning experiences and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by equipping individuals with valuable skills for the job market. The VR headsets are expected to aid efforts in developing teaching and learning materials for online education, supporting SDG 4 (Quality Education) by enhancing the quality and accessibility of education. This initiative is also in line with the university's vision to become a leader in online education.
